Two apartments for one client, Amsterdam

In our first project for the same client, we transformed the layout of a bachelor apartment to address limited daylight, incorporating a transparent corridor around the space to enhance optical spaciousness and functionality.

Transitioning to our second project, for Josh's growing family, we faced a time-sensitive challenge, racing to complete the design and renovation before the baby's arrival.

The client bought a two-story apartment without having access to one of the floors, so we had to design a space that we couldn't enter. Relying on floor plans of the lower floor and educated guesses, we created initial drawings, refining them upon gaining access to the attic. Despite this challenge, the attic transformation, including enlargement and lighting improvements, proceeded smoothly, culminating in adding a new dormer, all while ensuring compliance with permit requirements.
