House in Amstelveen

Our client, with fond memories of her classic-style apartment in a Warsaw tenement house, desired to imbue her new home in Amstelveen with a similar aesthetic.

However, the house's existing architecture did not align with this vision. To remedy this, we introduced elements of classic-style architecture to evoke the ambience of her cherished childhood home.

A significant challenge within the interior design was a construction pole in the middle of the living room. This structural element resulted from the previous owner's expansion of the living space into the garden zone.

Despite its initially obstructive nature, we approached this obstacle creatively, transforming the pole into a practical and aesthetically pleasing shelf.

This innovative solution addressed the architectural inconvenience and added functionality to the space, demonstrating our commitment to turning negative elements into positive and functional features within our designs.
