Joy Division

Urban ensemble project for transforming an industrial area into a residential district with a mixed-use program and a public and private space division strategy.

The new plan presents an urban design strategy that will integrate seamlessly with the surrounding area and align with contemporary residential developments in the city. It outlines key motives that will shape the spatial qualities of the plan, including a clear and concise strategy for the diverse programs proposed for the site. The project encompasses a housing ensemble of at least 200 dwellings with commercial and other related facilities such as parking, exterior spaces, and communal areas. A crucial aspect of the design is "bringing back water to the city."
